It matters if you're taking regular strength or extra strength. Extra strength is 500mg and I think regulate is like 160mg. The max is supposed to be 4000mg per day but you can take about 10,000mg before you actually die but around 5000+ is enough to damage your liver pretty badly if you take that much often. So if you've been taking extra strength, you should stop before you hurt yourself, if you are taking regular, you're probably in no danger at all.
