Yesterday I started having chest pains whenever I would bend down to pick something (I was helping at a party, and there was quite of mess, so I was doing this a lot). When I came back home, even breathing was starting to hurt; not all the time though, just in certain positions (like sitting or standing in a certain way).
When I was going to bed, I couldn't breath without feeling pain, so getting to sleep was quite uncomfortable. When I woke up this morning, I felt fine, until I got out of bed. Then the pain started again.
And I've basically been having the pain all day today as well.
I went to the doctor this morning and got an ECG done, and had a chest cavity x-ray done and some blood tests done. The ECG says I'm fine, but I'm still waiting for the results of the other two tests.
Does anyone know what could be wrong with me? I'm only 19 so I hope its nothing serious.

I'm betting the other two tests are not going to show anything abnormal, either.
You have muscles between all your ribs that stretch out when you breathe in and contract when you exhale. It almost sounds like you might have strained one or two. If so, there's nothing you can really do except take some type of pain reliever. It will get better and better over the next several days, and within a week will have resolved itself. But kind of try to take it easy in the meantime, physically anyway.
