What is the limit as x goes to infinity of A/(1+Be^(-kt)) where A, B, and k are constants

I know the limit as x goes to negative infinity is 0 and I thought it was 0 for positive infinity too, but its not. Can you point me in the right direction? Thanks!-A/(1+Be^(-kt))

How do I solve these trigonometry problems

? 1. In what interval(s) between 0 and 2pi are tan(theta) and sin(theta) both negative? Both positive? 2. Find all angle measures between 0 degrees and 360 degrees for which the sin of theta = -0.55

Math Circles (Trigonometry) Hard Problem

What is the smallest number of satellites that would be able to broadcast a signal from a single station on earth so that every party of the equator could receive a signal? provide an explanation as w

Can anybody explain how this was even the solution to the math problem

Okay so Im learning how to solve a problem from my math text and they show the steps on how to solve it, but already and Im getting stuck at Step 3. The problem was at first, from Step 2, 9 - (x^2)/4

Find inverse f(x) = 1/2(x – 1)^2 – 1 , X ≥ 1 . Find domain and range of f and f^-1 . Graph f, f^-1

Please help I have no clue on this.-f(x) is the right half of a parabola, with vertex (1, -1), opening up. y = f(x) = (1/2)(x - 1)^2 - 1 x = (1/2)(y - 1)^2 - 1 x + 1 = (1/2)(y - 1)^2 2(x + 1) = (y -

What is the distance between a=-12 and b=6 on a real number line

6 - -12 = 18-Are you that much of an Idiot??Anyways its 18-18. Since: -12->0=12 0->6=6 so, 12+6=18

Finding the volume of this solid using double integral

Hello! I am having trouble with a math problem. Here is the detail: A solid is enclosed by two cylinders z = x^2 and y = x^2 and two planes y = 4 and z = 0. Find the volume of this solid. I was usi

PLEASE HELP: How do I download the new OS onto my TI-84 plus

Right now I have the 2.43 version, which is also available on the TI website (which claims the 2.43 version is the new operation system), but I read that 2.55 is the newest operating system. Where can

If three vertices of a parallelogram in the plane are (-5,3), (5,2) and (7,-8), determine all the possible

If three vertices of a parallelogram in the plane are (-5,3), (5,2) and (7,-8), determine all the possible coordinates of the fourth vertex. please help, thanks :)-In this case, there are actually 3

How to solve these inequalities? And i just need one checked

1)3x + 10 is it x 2) x/2 ≥ 5 + x/12-1. OK 2. Multiply all by 12: 12x/2 >= 5*12 + 12x/12 6x >= 60 + x 5x >= 60 x >= 12 Jen-first answer seems to be correct second answer is x>=12

ALGEBRA ll Help. 1. Which set represents the inequality x ≥ -1 in interval notation

a. (-∞, -1] b. (-1,∞) c. [-1,∞) d. (-∞, -1) 2. Which is the solution set of x/2 + 3 ≤ 1? a. (-∞, -4] b. (-4, ∞) c. [-4, ∞) d. (-∞, -4) 3. Which is the solution set of -4 ≤ 3 - y over the whole num

How do I know if this is a linear combination

ok so I have (1,2,3) = a(2,2,2) + b(1,0,1) I am trying to find out if (2,2,2) and (1,0,1) are linear combinations of (1,2,3). Cant remember though how to tell if it is or isnt. So I need to know if a

Help with simple math function

What is the domain of 4 sq root 3x+7-The domain is simply all numbers that do NOT: Make the denominator zero, or make the expression imaginary, or result in an error of some sort (i.e. ln(-1)) So wha

Use inverse functions to determine these are Inverses f(x)=2x–2/x+3 & g(x)=3x+2/2–x

Checking my work is correct. Thank you-f(x) = (2x - 2)/(x + 3) Let y = f(x) => y = (2x - 2)/(x + 3) => xy + 3y = 2x - 2 => xy - 2x = -3y - 2 => x = (3y + 2)/(2 - y) replacing y with x we get inverse

A number is such that three times the product of the number and 4 exceeds its square by 20 .find the number

quadratic equation sum-x = the number 3(4x) = x² + 20 {created the equation based on the first sentence} 12x = x² + 20 {multiplied 3 by 4x} x² - 12x + 20 = 0 {subtracted 12x from both sides} (x - 10)
