x + 6 = -10
Subtract 6 from each side
x = -16

if the slash is a division symbal then X=-16 if u meant to write that a multiplication symbal then X=-8

- x/2 - 3 = 5

- x/2 = 5 + 3

- x /2 = 8

x = - 2 * 8

x = - 16

multiply by -1 to get x/2+3=-5

times by 2 = x+6=-10, x=-16
