as the curves are u shaped, and the negative one will no go above -3,......
I have to graph the following function, but don't know how to plug it into my TI-83 Plus.

3 sec (4(x+π/4))

remember that sec = 1/cos

get to with window of y1 =...
(hit graph)

I use * for the multiply sign and X for the variable

then 3 * ( 1/ cos (4 (X + (π / 4))) )

Then readjust you windows on the graph.

as the curves are u shaped, and the negative one will no go above -3, and the pos one will not go below 3

If seconds is what you are having an issue with on the ti 84 press the second button on the top and then the apps button the second symbol ' is used for seconds
