The initial acceleration of the first particles is observed to be 7m/S^2 and that of the second to be 9m/s^2 . if the mass of the first particle is 6.3x10^-7kg. what are the mass of the second particle and the magnitude of the charge of each particle.

Let the mass of the particales are respectively m1 & m2 kg
=>for 1st:-
=>By F = m1a1 = 6.3 x 10^-7 x 7 = 4.41 x 10^-6 N
By the 3rd law of newton:-
F12 = F21
=>4.41 x 10^-6 = m2 x 9
=>m2 = 4.9 x 10^-7 kg
by the coloumb's law:-
F = kq^2/r^2
=>4.41 x 10^-6 = 9 x 10^9 x q^2/(3.2 x 10^-3)^2
=>q = √[5.02 x 10^-21]
=>q = 0.708 x 10^-10 C
