Do you think chinese Moon and Mars project is real

i am chinese. Communist trying to tell everybody in non-official way about they are ready to put 5 men on the dark side of the moon.

mission 1: put one red flag on the surface of the moon in the year between 2016-2017
mission 2: doing preliminary work for futher 'Military or Civil ' base on the moon
mission 3: set up an mining, researching, manufacturing and traning station on the moon in order to do preliminary work for landing on mars. the traning station would be nice place to train space men. and manufacturing or researching center would be developing and building mars landing ship on the moon.

Chinese communist seems want to land on mars before americans, russians, and EU. they want to declear that moon belong to china ?
what do you think about it ?

I'm sure the US and Russian would welcome someone else stepping up to the plate. Putting a flag on the moon is something China has the ability to do now so I don't know why they would set a date years from now, I would recommend they start at step 3 and work with the US and Russia to get started on something, The US just sent all there space shuttles to museums, Commercial space flight is the talk around here, The US has currently 6 companies working on preliminary long term (years)space stations that are capable of housing 150+ people, equipped with a medical and hydroponic bays, and able to travel outside the Earths gravitational pull. Money is becoming more and more of a issue for the US as we tend to go over budget on almost everything. The James Web telescope is over budget by almost 10 billion now.
If China would get a man to Mars before The US it would bring a tear to my eye, cause it's getting lonely at the top.

They sound just like NASA! That is what they want to do, not what they will get money to do or be able to do. Only time will tell. NASA is always doing that too.
