No silly answers like "yup you're good" or "yep you did it right :D" just because you want points, I want people who are good at math to determine if I did it right or not. Thanks.
Solve each equation by graphing.
6x + 2y = 12
y = 3x
I solved it like this:
6x + 2(3x = 12)
6x + (6x = 12)
12x = 12
x = 1
y = 3
So it's (1,3)
Is that correct? Thanks.

The directions say to "solve each equation by graphing."
Here's a graph.

Your solution is correct, but your notation is faulty. It should appear like this:
6x + 2(3x) = 12
6x + 6x = 12
12x = 12
x = 1, so y = 3(1) = 3
6x + 2(3x) = 12
6x + 6x = 12
12x = 12
x = 1, so y = 3(1) = 3

Correct answer, but the parentheses are wrong.
6x + 2(3x) = 12
6x + 6x = 12
12x = 12
x = 1
y = 3(1) = 3
6x + 2(3x) = 12
6x + 6x = 12
12x = 12
x = 1
y = 3(1) = 3

It's correct :) I just don't understand why did you put brackets like that.
Check: 6x1 + 2x3 = 12
6 + 6 = 12
12 = 12
Check: 6x1 + 2x3 = 12
6 + 6 = 12
12 = 12

6x + 2y = 12 ..................1
y = 3x............................2
1 into 2 we have
6x+2(3x)=12
6x+6x=12
x=1
sub into
y=3(1)
=3
y = 3x............................2
1 into 2 we have
6x+2(3x)=12
6x+6x=12
x=1

y=3(1)

6x+2*3x=12
