Nine college students had eaten the following number of times at a fast food restaurant for dinner in the last ten days:

2, 4, 8, 9, 7, 4, 5, 5, 2

The mean is the average. So you add them all and then divide by the total amount of numbers. There are nine numbers, so that's what you'll divide by.

(2+4+8+9+7+4+5+5+2) / 9 =
46 / 9 = 5.1 repeating so you'd draw a line over the 1

The median is the middle number of the list. So put them in order to find this.

2 2 4 4 5 5 7 8 9

The middle number is 5 so that's your median.

The mode is the most repeated number. Since there are multiple numbers repeated the most, they are each considered the mode. So your modes are: 2, 4 and 5

The range is the biggest number minus the smallest number:

9-2 = 7

So 7 is your range.

Mean - 5.1(repeating) or (46/9)
Median - 5
Mode - 2, 4 and 5
Range - 7

Glad I could help! Lemme know if there's anything else you need help with! I love math and helping people :)
