The answer is C

The amount of tax is $19,050 you have already got part of the answer as if she earned $75,001 or more she would pay $17,850 in tax

Over $75,000 she pays 40c in the $

19,050 - 17850 = 1200

1200 / .40 = 3000

$75,000 + $3000 = $78,000
