Some help with algebra please

I'm stuck on 2 questions and I really don't know what to do:

NOTE: ^= exponent Example: x^6
Q1: (x²+y²)(____________________) = x^6 + y^6

Q2: When n is an odd number, (-a²) ^n =_______________

Please help!!

Q1: a^3 + b^3 = (a + b)*(a^2 – ab + b^2)

x^6 + y^6 = (x^2 + y^2)*(x^4 – x^2y^2 + y^4)

Q2: n is an odd number,

(-1)^n = -1

(-a²) ^n = (-1)^n (a^2)^n = (-1) a^(2n) = -a^(2n)

divide (x^6+y^6) by (x^2+y^2)
can't type it but you'll get (x^4-x^2*y^2+y^4)
( x^2 + y^2 ) ( x^4 - x^2*y^2 + y^4 ) = ( x^6 + y^6 )

(-a^2)^n = a^2n
odd number*even number = even number
eg: 3*2=6
5*6=30..etc
likewise (-a^2)n = -a^2n = a^2n
eg: (-3^2)^3 = -3^6= 729

Q1: i think it will end up being (x^6+y^6)/(x^2+y^2) which =x^4+y^4

Q2: I have no clue :p is that all the instructions?

A1:(x^2+y^2)(x^4-x^2*y^2+y^2)=x^6+y^6
