Hey, so I went to multiple optometrists and ask for contact lenses and they fit me with a prescription of (left) Spherical : +.25 Cylinder : -.75 and (right) Spherical: none Cylinder : -.75 and I cannot see without my lenses since I'm both nearsighted and farsighted I literally cannot read in any distance without glasses yet my prescription is low why would this be? ... however I feel that I still need more power because I still do not see many words and have trouble focusing , what would be the next closest prescription for astigmatism that can make a difference or how can I ask this to my optometrist? It seems they just base the prescription on the autorefractor. If anyone can reply it will be really appreciated.

Your eyes might not be aligned right, thus, making you color blind, that's what happened to me, you might be color blind to certain colors, you will se the colors just fine, but it will be a completely different color than what other people see, that's what happened to me. Good luck!
