I was looking through programs that I would be able to get into for my future career and i stumbled across Medical Laboratory Science at University of Ontario Institue of Technology and i was wondering if someone could tell me what the main role of a Medical Laboratory technologist does

I was looking into a similar degree here in Australia. From what I understand, I Medical Laboratory technician is the person who doctors send test samples away for analysis. IE Blood samples, urine samples, DNA samples, tissue samples etc, to check for abnormalities. Though I have no proof to back these speculations up, and I could be completely wrong. But that's how I understand it.
