Help in potato osmosis lab!!

Also why did water move in or out of the potato like it did..?-The potato that got lighter was in a hypertonic environment and the potato that got heavier was in a hypotonic environment. When there is a differing of concentration of salts between the inside and outside of the potato, the tendency of water is to move where there is less of it until equilibrium is achieved.......
Test tube 1 - potato went from 10g to 7g.
Test tube 2 - potato went from 10g to 12g.

Which test tube has a hypertonic solution and which one is hypotonic and why..???!!
