What causes us to 'rotate' with the Earth's surface

[From: ] [author: ] [Date: 12-01-29] [Hit: ]
and the Earths surface are moving around the Earths axis at over 1,000 miles per hour.We and the car rotate with the earths surface because of our momentum. The momentum changes direction due to the gravity, but its magnitude remains constant unless there is some force acting on us parallel to the Earths surface that speeds us up up or slows us down relative to the Earths surface, like a wind or a car seat pushing on us.......
Also when a car is driving along the Earth, when the earth's surface curves away will it still drive on to that curve because of gravity?

Gravity holds both us and the car to the Earth's surface. but both we, the car, and the Earth's surface are moving around the Earth's axis at over 1,000 miles per hour. We and the car rotate with the earth's surface because of our momentum. The momentum changes direction due to the gravity, but its magnitude remains constant unless there is some force acting on us parallel to the Earth's surface that speeds us up up or slows us down relative to the Earth's surface, like a wind or a car seat pushing on us.

Yes, gravity is the right answer.
