Can you please help explain integration? (calculus)

But dont make it too stupid. I know defferentiation and the limits and stuff. I just need help with the integration.step 2: know the rules and methods of integration so that you can use the common integrals to solve more complicated problems.unfortunately, there is no general step by step that works for all functions.......
Okay, I just don't get this anti-derivative and all that.
I know the basic notation, and the domain of integration and integrand and all that.
But I don't know how you find the integrals or anti-derivative or whatever.

Can you please give me the steps on how to find an integral?

P.S.
I'm an 8th grader in an extracurricular program so explain it to me like an 8th grader. But don't make it too stupid. I know defferentiation and the limits and stuff. I just need help with the integration.
(I know that integration is like the backwards of differentiation but my teacher can't teach)

the steps to find an integral:

step 1: know the common integrals that are usually in a table in the front/back of the book

for example the integral of cos x is sin x + constant
and the integral of x^n is (1/n+1)x^(n + 1) + constant
and the integral of 1/x is natural log of x + constant
there are many many more

step 2: know the rules and methods of integration so that you can use the common integrals to solve more complicated problems.

unfortunately, there is no general step by step that works for all functions.
