since T=2pi/w, T=pi, and f=1/pi cycles/s.w^2=4 , so w=2 , although u continued the answer with w=2 and u got the right answer.......
A 20-kg mass is attached to a spring. If the frequency of simple harmonic motion is 2/pi cycles/s, what is the spring constant k? What is the frequency of simple harmonic motion if the original mass is replaced with an 80-kg mass?

I think the steps are correct, except for this part
"If so, for part b, w^2=320/80, w=4. since T=2pi/w, T=pi, and f=1/pi cycles/s."

w^2=4 , so w=2 , although u continued the answer with w=2 and u got the right answer.
