please help me with my math homework!
im checking my answer. i got -4 (n)
i got it by putting the like terms together.

-
you need to need to multiply and apply distributive property:
answer:
-2n+12=-4n
-2n=12
n=-6

-
You have to use the distributive property.
-2n + 12= -4n
add 2n to both sides
12= -2n
12/ -2= -6
n=-6

Hope this helps!

-
-2(n - 6) = -4n
n - 6 = 2n
-6 = n

or

-2(n - 6) = -4n
-2n + 12 = -4n
2n = -12
n = -6
