=Perimeter is 580m-is it a circular field? if so, the perimeter is the circumference.-circular donot include perimeter i guess.......
how do you figure out the perimeter of a field when the diameter is 145m

I can figure out the circumference, and I'm getting better with the area and what not, but this. this is just uncalled for.

hmmmm...a sports question. let's see...

you said the field is 145m in diameter. circles have diameters. squares don't so...

perimeter = pi * dia gives...
p = 22/7 * 145m is about

ans: 440 m (about)

is that what you got for the circumference?

good luck.

Perimeter and Circumference are essentially the same thing

P or C is pi*diameter or 2*pi*radius
Area = pi*radius squared

If none of this is helpful you can use pi to get perimeter if given the right information. Pi is the ratio of any circle's circumference to its diameter; this is the same value as the ratio of a circle's area to the square of its radius.

There isnt much information so we have to assume that the field is a square or else we cannot solve the problem.

So this means that all sides are 145m because the diameter is going to equal the side length.
145m x 4 (sides) = 580m
=Perimeter is 580m

circular donot include perimeter i guess.
