but I have been racking my brain on how to get it and I know it is NOT that hard. Thanks.so,it isnt that hard !@Σ-What this means is 2x/5y = 3/4.x/y = 15/8.......
Please show the full workings for this problem. The answer is 15 to 8, but I have been racking my brain on how to get it and I know it is NOT that hard. Thanks.

2x / 5y = 3 / 4

x / 5y = 3 / 8

x / y = 15 / 8

x : y = 15 : 8

-
2x/5y = 3/4

(2x/5y) * (5/2) = x/y

so,

x/y = (3/4) * (5/2) = 15/8

it isn't that hard !

What this means is 2x/5y = 3/4. Multiply both sides by 20y to get:
8x = 15y
Now divide both sides by 8y to get:
x/y = 15/8.
