its funny life evolved here and then all life was destroyed and it evolved again
gosh I thought it was a billion trillion to one long shot

Them say: Ya....... it was founded by chance. You figure Goddidit?
-
Donut Tim say: Chance?
Of the billions of planets in each of the billions of galaxies, life formed where it could rather than where it could not.
Is that surprising?

ugly duckling101:
The formation of life from non-life may or may not be a rare occurrence. Too little evidence is available.
Of the trillions of suitable places on a planet, and of trillions of planets and over vast amounts of time, it only needed to occur once.

Michael say: In my opinion a male & female were put here in different parts of earth from another planet light years away to see if they can survive. (If as they say man came from monkeys, then why has monkeys stopped having human babies.) For instance our blood vessels are clear, yet they look blue, but when our blood hits air the blood turns red. Mike

bob7777 say: Chance? It is possible to flip a quarter and have it land on edge...once. Twice in a row? Now you are stretching credulity. How about 20 times in a row. Math tells us this would reduce the possibility to so near zero as to be impossible.
Now consider the earth. Here are a few items if taken by themselves possibility comes into play. Consider....
A long lived star in a relatively remote location away from near by stars. And not just any star. this ones needs to be 2nd generation with heavy elements and the unlikely super heavy elements (gold and heavier) that are made by colliding neutron stars.
A planetary system where large gas giants are in the outer planetary region where they can act as shield against comets.
A very large and relatively close moon to control axial tilt and provide tidal balance .
