Helium; Each element has its own number of protons. So the ONLY element with 2 protons is helium.2. 46neutrons, 52 protons; Tellurium ALWAYS has ONLY 52 protons. 98 in this case is mass.......
1. what element has 2 protons and has the mas number 4?
2. how many protons and neutrons are in tellurium 98?
3. how many protons and neutrons are in iridium 270?
4. what element has 42 protons and has the mass number 97?

Please please help me!

1. Helium; Each element has it's own number of protons. So the ONLY element with 2 protons is helium.

2. 46neutrons, 52 protons; Tellurium ALWAYS has ONLY 52 protons. 98 in this case is mass. Number of protons + Number of neutrons = mass. We now have the protons and mass, so we just solve for Number of neutrons.

3. 193 neutrons, 77 proton; Similar to number 2!

4. Molybdenum; similar to number 1!

The number of protons define what is the element, so any element with 2 protons is helium.

Taking hydrogen as an example 1 proton defines hydrogen, add a neutron to get deuterium, and another to get tritium. All 3 are isotopes of hydrogen.

Tellurium has 52 protons. The rest you can work out.
