This is really a simple problem:
for number ab, let a represent tens digits, and b represent ones digits. From this, we can make the equation
10a+b=6(a+b)
from the 2nd part of the problem we make the equation
a-b=1
expanding we get
10a+b=6a+6b
simplify to
4a=5b
rearrange the second one to
b=a-1
substitute b for the first equation to get
4a=5(a-1)
expand to
4a=5a-5
rearrange to solve to
a=5
substitute a to 2nd equation to get
b=5-1
so b=4
so for our 2 digit number, ab, a=5 and b=4, so the 2 digit number is 54.
hope that helped!

45. I just did it in my head. the KEY clue is that the 10's digit is greater than the 1's by 1.
so
01
12
23
34
45
56
67
78
89
are your only choices.

4+5=9
9*6=45
