Compare and contrast the processes of nuclear fission and fusion, showing similarities and differences. Describe which, if any, of these processes is naturally occurring. If so, where?

Hey there,
This is physics but I can help anyway :)
Nuclear fission is the splitting of the atom by first firing a neutron to a supercritical mass to fuel a chain reaction (like a nuke).
Where as fusion is firing to atoms together to create a larger atom. (Dueterium + Deuterium --> Helium)
Neither are natural however radioactive decay is all around us in the heavy atoms.
