The balanced equation is
Ca(OH)2 + Ba(NO3)2 -> Ca(NO3)2 + Ba(OH)2
My complete ionic equation is:
Ca + 2OH + Ba + 2NO3 -> Ca + 2NO3 + Ba + 2OH
Is that right? If so, does that mean there is no net ionic equation?
Ca(OH)2 + Ba(NO3)2 -> Ca(NO3)2 + Ba(OH)2
My complete ionic equation is:
Ca + 2OH + Ba + 2NO3 -> Ca + 2NO3 + Ba + 2OH
Is that right? If so, does that mean there is no net ionic equation?

There's no reaction because all reactants and products are aqueous/soluble.

Well Calcium hydroxide is considered insoluble, so I suppose you could:
Ca(OH)2(s) -------------------> Ca+2(aq) + 2OH-(aq)
Ca(OH)2(s) -------------------> Ca+2(aq) + 2OH-(aq)

No net ionic! you are correct!
