A PBS documentary suggested that the following premise is
accepted across the scientific community.

It is that the force of gravity which keeps our planets in orbit
around our sun is not a pulling magnetic type of force but
rather a bending of outer-space that causes the planets to
“fall into” an orbit.

Assuming that this explanation is uncontested then my
follow-up question is if humans are kept on the planet by
the exact same force. Nothing magnetic or pulling.
Just a bend of space?

Is there more at play here?

Yes humans do make gravity just like planets/moons/stars make gravity. Anything with gravity will both make and receive gravity, as per Newton's third law of all forces. Like any other type of force, gravity must be a "two way street". In order to be acted upon by gravity, a body must also act upon via gravity the body acting upon it.

Interesting fact: if you have two 100 kg bodies (not necessarily human bodies) that are isolated in deep space, initially at rest 1 meter apart...it will take them about an hour and a half for them to drift together and collide.

To answer simply, Anything with mass has gravity. Spacetime is warped by any mass, therefore any mass warps spacetime.
Most people like to explain the warp of spacetime using a blanket and a ball on the blanket. Hold the blanket at all 4 corners and stretch it out, If you drop a (mass)ball in the middle the blanket around the ball will create a dip in the spacetime(blanket)
