prepare 700 mL of a 0.476MMgSO4 solution?
please help me, i've never been good at these, so can somebody kinda teach me it.
please give me a step by step instructions on how u got the answer, and the answer too so i can check ur work

Okay, let us try it. You must know the mole concept thoroughly for these types of problems.
Now 1 molar solution equals one g molecular wt of the compound dissolved in 1 L of solvent.
mol wt of MgSO4 · 7H2O = 24+32+64+126 = 246
so 246 g dissolved in 1 L = 1 M solution
you need 0.476 M soluton
so you need 0.476*246 = 117.1 g/L solution
However you want only 700 ml solution
so amount required = 117.1*700/1000 = 81.97 g
so you weigh out 81.97 g and dissolve it in 700 ml water to get 0.476 M solution

There you have it
