Science 30 - Inheritance (short carrots crossed with long carrots)

Bill the farmer crossed short carrots with long carrots. The offspring were all short carrots. Then these short carrots were crossed with each other. What was the result?

a. all short carrots
b. 50% short carrots & 50% long carrots
c. 75% short carrots & 25% long carrots
d. 25% short carrots and 75% long carrots

c The first cross (SS x ss) shows that short is dominant. offspring are all Ss. When crossed, the genotypes are 1/4 SS, 1/2 Ss, 1/4 ss. The SS and Ss are short. The ss are long.
