what if mars looked just like earth, but one day had a pole shift which weakened the defense sheild and while the sheild was down, solar winds and solar radiation destroyed the planet? it could happen when we have our shift

LOOL
i can imagine the following conversation on a star trek episode
*scotty* Captain, we're having a pole shift, our shields are down
*kirk* darn it scott, we must hold the shields
*scotty* she won't hold captain, she's running on her last leg!!!
*spock* this doesn't sound logical captain
*kirk* bones, fix the sheilds
*bones* damn it jim, i'm a doctor, NOT a scientist.
*kirk* mars is gonna burn! warp speed mr sulu, set course for planet earth
*sulu* ey ey captain!
*captain log's, stardate 2099.3*
We are circling a planet callled earth. our only trace of life form is from a blog known as "yahoo answers" after scanning for many days now, we have come to the realization that there is very few intelligent life form on this primitive planet

I heared about polar shift and our poles are also shifting slowly from their original position. And it is possible to completely switched its sides i.e. south pole can shift to north and north to south pole. Scientist believes that this could happen after every one million years. During the shift solar wind can harm earth.

You should take up writing science fiction, or as a science reporter for a TV channel.
1) No planet or moon can possibly have a pole shift.
2) No planet or moon has a shield
3) solar radiation can't harm a planet or moon
Given that, your question appears to much ado about nothing.
I suggest you relax and take it easy for a while.
Perhaps put your feet up and read a book on astronomy.

no the "shift" you hear about on the news is over reactions by the news reporters to get more people to watch them.

Just like this question, that proposal in fact does not soung logical.
