Do South Americans get their water from the Amazon Rainforest?

Lakes and rivers, like the rest of the world. Yes, some water comes from the Amazon River, but Argentina, Chile, Paraguay and Uruguay have no access to the river or its tributaries so they get their water from elsewhere
