Xxx-its easy if you use a calculator, just divide 1 by 6, which is 0.1/15 is 0.so 1.00/6,......
Can you please tell me what 1/6, 1/15, and 8/30 would be as a decimal AND percent? Please help. I'm not good with these kind of things. Thank you. Xxx

its easy if you use a calculator, just divide 1 by 6, which is 0.166

and so on

1/15 is 0.066

however if calculators are not allowed you would have to do long division

so 1.00/6, pretend like 1.00 is 100, but place the decimal back into your final answer

16 from 100, so move the decimal to the left two time 0.16 for 1

1.00 vs 100.

to find percent after you find your final answer

1/6 is 0.16 always multiply by 100 so 16%

To find a decimal, you divide the top number by the bottom number. For 1/6, type into your calculator: 1 / 6. It will give you 0.1666666666666 (infinite number of sixes). To find percent, take this number and move the decimal two places to the left: 16.666666666 (infinite sixes).

Just divide them using long division.

Use long division to divide 1 by 6.
