What is everyones thoughts on evolution in general then

Once again please no trying to convert me to a religion, and please speak in factual, not influencing ways.

Evolution is the process by which life on Earth diversified from an original common ancestor to the species that exist today. It consists mainly of mutations to the genetic code of offspring during reproduction, and natural selection, which propagates those mutations that are favourable to an organism's survival in a particular environment, and weeds out those that are unfavourable. Variation in allele frequencies shifts during times of environmental attrition, which leads to the development of new species.

It is a process that is intrinsic to and will necessarily occur in any imperfectly-self-replicating system, and, thus, it almost certainly works with similar results to ours on any planet where an abiogenesis event has occurred.

The evidence for evolution is so overwhelmingly compelling that it can be considered proven beyond any plausible refute. "Belief" in evolution is entirely unnecessary; mere acceptance is appropriate for fact.

It has been proven time and time again. The evidence for evolution is both irrefutable and overwhelming. There is no other hypothesis with evidence that is capable of explaining the mechanics of evolution. The "gaps" are a result of uncollected evidence-- just because we have not discovered it, does not mean that we never will nor does it mean that evolution is false. Frankly, I do not see how people can vehemently deny what is obviously a concrete theory. Creationists will and do deny anything that conflicts with their fatuous beliefs. Whether people accept it or not, the theory of evolution is true.

I think there is truth in both evolution and intelligent design. I think that what is flawed is human perceptions and interpretations of both. In my view man is ignorant, and proves it by arguing over who is right even though there are holes in both theories. We would find more truth by conceding to, and accepting our faults.
Man's insatiable desire to possess and control leads to the blind arrogance you see in the arguments of both sides of this ignorance, as with wars over the same throughout the ages.

My honest opinion that it is really sad that there are still people who think its not true. The evidence is truly undeniable, and those who deny it simply do not understand biology, chemistry, and genetics at the level needed to understand how evolution actually works.

I accept it and I understand it. In my opinion, people who think it's untrue simply don't understand it, or don't bother to understand it.
