What are the different layers of skin

Is dermis an epithelial tissue?
Please if you can explain the 4-5 layers of epidermis.
Also tell me the perfect medical name for human skin in these:
1. Dermis.
2. Cutis.
3. Cutaneous layer.

Skin is a compound organ. It is ectomesodermal. Ectoderm forms the epidermis,and mesoderm forms the dermis. In adult, skin is therefore composed of epidermis and dermis. Epidermis has stratum corneum, stratum lucidum, stratum granulosum, and staratum malpighi. Dermis is a loose connective tissue which contains melanocytes, glands and nerves etc.
