[From: ] [author: ] [Date: 11-11-03] [Hit: ]
In Respiration, the inhaled oxygen is being converted to carbon dioxide when exhaled. The carbon dioxide is being kept as food for plants (photosynthesis), while the carbon dioxide in respiration is being exhaled by humans or other living things.......
why are they backwards details pls

Let us define fist each terms:
Photosynthesis: is a chemical process that converts carbon dioxide into organic compounds, especially sugars, using the energy from sunlight.

Respiration: is defined as the transport of oxygen from the outside air to the cells within tissues, and the transport of carbon dioxide in the opposite direction.

Observation:
In photosynthesis, the converted carbon dioxide is being stored.
In Respiration, the inhaled oxygen is being converted to carbon dioxide when exhaled.

Difference:
The carbon dioxide is being kept as food for plants (photosynthesis), while the carbon dioxide in respiration is being exhaled by humans or other living things.
