The membranes that surround the nucleus and other organelles are almost identical to the cell membrane - why

why is this? please help!!

The same nutrients and products that must enter and leave the cell also need to pass through the organelle membranes. Therefore the two membranes must be very similar, though organelle membranes are generally more specific with their permeability being specific to their function.

all organlles consist of the same membrane..lipid bilayers, because it increases surface area of the organelles. so they function more efficiently.
