Can viruses replicate INDEPENDENTLY of host cells

[From: ] [author: ] [Date: 11-09-16] [Hit: ]
As you know, A cell is the basic unit of all living organisms so since a Virus has no cell, well you know what that means right? Now, a Virus behaves like its living, provided that it has a host.......
True or False?

No! Viruses are what we call Acelullar Organisms. Meaning they are on the border line between living and non living. Because Viruses have no cells, they are non living. As you know, A cell is the basic unit of all living organisms so since a Virus has no cell, well you know what that means right? Now, a Virus behaves like it's living, provided that it has a host. No host, no cell, no life. While, host equals cell, and cell equals life...for Viruses anyway. Can ya dig it now?
