I am in high school and I live in Australia. I love maths and physics, and engineering seems like the best area for that. What I really want to be is an aerospace engineer but I have been considering the factors such as how hard the university course is or if it is hard to find a job. Also, what I really want is a high paying job involving a lot of maths and physics. What would be my best career path and what type of engineering or any sort of job involves the most physics/maths and is easiest to find a job in?

I am an aerospace engineering student in America. I love the field, but I have been searching for a job and you're right, it is difficult. If you are looking for a sure way to land a job but still want to do aerospace-type things, I'd go mechanical because they are paid slightly less for the same things aerospace people do and are in higher demand in this economy. Otherwise, Biomedical engineering is a good field with high pay and relatively high demand. Whichever course you decide to take, be prepared to do a ton of software programming. Engineering these days is 75% computer work, 25% math and physics, which may be a bit generous. Hope you find your calling!
Cheers!
