Nobody would pay to buy dark matter (but everybody would pay to have a definitive proof of dark matter and, even better, a way to know what it is), it's all around us, you can't store it in any way (it goes through everything) and even if some sort of magical artefact donated to us from aliens could allow to store it, we would have zero way to tell if that's true. All we'd see is an empty box.
