Can satellites watch you change and stuff?

So where do you hide if they can look through walls?

Spy sats (low level and short lived) can read a number plate - but they have to be pointed at just the right place.
Nothing can "see through walls" and a spy sat low enough to get any detail goes past in minutes.

Forget satellites. Drones can look through your 26th-floor apartment window.
But visible light is blocked by curtains and walls, and thermal infrared and radar images just aren't that interesting (and can't easily be taken through thick walls, either)

In the future, maybe swarms of microdrones the size of flies will sneak into your house when you open the door. Then again, why you particularly ?

This page discusses how good an image a spy satellite the size of the Hubble could take, if it was looking straight down. If it's bigger than the Hubble the image would be better. If it's looking at an angle - which some spy satellites can do - the image would be worse.

Enough to make out a person, and possibly tell if they're nude or clothed. But nowhere near enough to identify you or make an image that could be called explicit.

And no, the satellites can't look through opaque walls. They're *opaque*.

Military satelites can do that.But they arent spying ordinary people,they spy their enemies.They can zoom enough to be able to see almost everything on the ground and they can recognize faces.
