Was the moon landing actually real?

when there is no atmosphere on the moon, meaning this is physically impossible.. If anyone can clarify anything about these two points, that would be great. Ive always disputed with others on whether it is real or not.......
I currently believe it is fake because of two things:
1. Why on Earth have they not gone back since? Especially with the improvements in all technology available.
2. The footage of the landing shows the flag waving, when there is no atmosphere on the moon, meaning this is physically impossible..
If anyone can clarify anything about these two points, that would be great. I've always disputed with others on whether it is real or not.

Seriously???? If you are going to read up on the absurd "evidence" that the wacko's claim as proof of a hoax, you should at least pick up on those which are more technically interesting. Search "Best Answers" and you will find more evidence than you can possibly read proving that we really did land on the moon.
If you want to prove it to yourself, you could buy the "right" laser and reflect that laser off the mirrors we left on the surface for exactly that purpose.
And as far as why we have not been back... any time you want to pony up a few billion dollars and hire NASA to send you to the moon and back, go for it!
