Why other planets exist and what is the use of them ?

[From: ] [author: ] [Date: 14-07-03] [Hit: ]
Why does there have to be a reason? The Universe simply IS, and humanity is just one tiny part of it.-There is no reason for any planets being in existence, except for that they are the left overs of the formation of a star. There is no other reason for the planets (not even for human kind or any Earth life) at all,......
For ex we know that sun will give heat and light to us and moon has reflection of the sun for nights
But what about other planets like pluto or venus do for us why they are there. What is the reason for it to be there ?

Why should _anything_ in this huge Universe have to exist for mankind? Why does there have to be a reason? The Universe simply IS, and humanity is just one tiny part of it.

There is no reason for any planets being in existence, except for that they are the left overs of the formation of a star. There is no other reason for the planets (not even for human kind or any Earth life) at all,the only reason that there is life on this rock we call Earth is pure and simple "Chance" .

You seem to be looking for a philosophical answer to your question (meaning and purpose) rather than a scientific one (causation and explanation). In which case, this question would be better asked in the philosophy category. In science, something does not require a purpose to exist... it just does (or doesn't).

It is not written in stone anywhere that everything that exists, does so for the sole purpose of serving man.

No reason whatsoever.
-
What is the use? What's the use of this rock we're rolling around on?
It's the fucking universe, schmucko!
-
Nothing in the universe has purpose. Some things in the universe allow for other things to happen, but that doesn't imply purpose.

There is no reason, there is no purpose, the Universe, Stars and planets simply ARE.

I've asked a few variations of this question and the answer was always "there isn't one". They're just there, we're just here, and nobody or nothing made it or cares.
Bleh.

Solely to provide more work for astrologers as they make charts and predictions.
-
You can consider them byproducts if you want. The sun didn't just spring out of a vacuum (pun intended), there's a whole universe of seemingly useless stuff that led to its eventual existence.
-
Other planets, asteroids, etc. Appear because they are the collection of many "stuff" out in space. They slowly come together and form a object. There is no point why they should be there though.
-
Planets exist because of science, rocks and debris collided and came together to form planets over millions of years. They don't have a use, they were just created by science, and they're just there. Humans may find a use for planets in the future, such as possibly colonizing Mars, but they have no intended purpose. They're just big rocks in the sky.
