Tongue-in-cheek, I will first note that a god must have first existed before it could forsake something, which does not appear to be the case. Now your questions....

- Holiday excursions to Mars will likely not occur in your lifetime, though it will be cool if they do.

- We already have two probes that are technically on interstellar missions now, though at present we have no time-efficient means of going anywhere. Try this:

- The 100 YSS is intriguing. I wish the project all the best, and I wish I could live long enough to see some significant progress. Whether it is realistic at this time, I do not know.

- I doubt we will ever encounter intelligent aliens. Space is just too damn big. Microbes, probably.

- It's hard to envision interstellar travel at the moment. Intergalactic travel is the same problem magnified a thousand times.

- Our "Earth lives" are not pointless. We live on Earth. Any space exploration or colonization will, at least initially, depend on Earth for its sustainability.

- Mars One is more realistic than 100 YSS. I hope it secures enough funding to progress.

Interstellar is going to be pretty slow. The theory out there about warp drives say that it is theoretically possible. I did a good bit of research and learned that the energy requirements for faster than light travel are ridiculous. I forget how much but I think it was equivalent to the energy requirement equivalent to the energy of billions of stars.

Contact with aliens seems unlikely. Advanced life is probably very rare. The conditions for life are strict. I like to think of it as the lottery. Millions of planets get a chance at life. But most are too hot/cold/no atmosphere/etc to support life so they lose the lottery
