Lord... every single one of these should be in your textbook..
(1) New Moon (all dark)
(2) Waxing Crescent (waxing means ''getting larger'' - crescent means ''less than 1/2 visible)
(3) First Quarter (1/2 visible)
(4) Waxing Gibbous (waxing still means the same thing.... - gibbous means ''more than 1/2 visible)
(5) Full Moon (do you need this explained? Please, dear merciful deity, don't let this #$%^ need ''Full Moon'' explained...)
(6) Waning Gibbous (waning means ''getting *smaller* .... gibbous means the same thing as before)
(7) Third Quarter (1/2 visible - now, its the *other* half!! whee!!!)
(8) Waning Crescent (both these terms have been explained. Figure it out)
and back to New Moon and around we go on the cycle again.

Well, ..., to the website below. It has some great graphics on Lunar Phases. Look over it. Hopefully it will help you do well on your test.

Did you attend class and pay attention? If so, you should have no problems at all. If a cave man can do it, so can you.

Help? What did you need to know. The way your question is asked, "help" can be anything.
