If I'm in my twenties now, will I live long enough to where technology could make me immortal

There is nothing in fundamental science that prevents you from living forever.Naysayers have simply been brainwashed by popular culture to accept the expected norms of contemporary Western society. Dont allow yourself to fall victim to other peoples ignorance. If you desire immortality in a permanently youthful state then like any dream you need to work on it.Start now by ensuring you stay as healthy as possible. The breakthrough to achieve immortality may be a few decades away.......
Cause I don't wanna die.

Probably.

There are rapid advances being made in biotechnology. The human genome project added a lot to our knowledge of what the genome does and how it works. We just need to build on that project to eventually discover what it actually is that causes aging and how to stop it and reverse it. The breakthrough could come at any time, but realistically it will take a couple of decades.

Ageing is just a physical process, ultimately atoms and molecules in the wrong place. Fixing it is mainly a matter of technology. There is nothing in fundamental science that prevents you from living "forever".

Naysayers have simply been brainwashed by popular culture to accept the expected norms of contemporary Western society. Dont allow yourself to fall victim to other people's ignorance. If you desire immortality in a permanently youthful state then like any dream you need to work on it.

Start now by ensuring you stay as healthy as possible. The breakthrough to achieve immortality may be a few decades away. Make sure you keep yourself healthy so you will still be around when it arrives.

The biggest risks to your longevity are cardiovascular disease, cancer and physical trauma. Take the appropriate steps to minimise risks from all these factors. Don't let those who have given up on life and turned into perpetual misery-guts (typically they are obsessed with crime and horror) drag you down with them. Look after yourself.

It is also wise to have a safety net in place. If something unavoidable ruins your plans, then you can still reach immortality by having yourself cryonically frozen:

This is a last resort, because we don't know exactly how much of you will be recoverable from this process. However it is still far better than having no safety net in place.

Stay healthy. Stay positive. Minimise risk and heave a safety net in place.
