How many universes are there

and can see no reason to uphold such a conjecture. All the evidence that we have tells us that there is just one universe. If you look up at the sky at night you can see it.People like to make things more complicated than they really are. This is generally done to make themselves look rather clever, and to bamboozle the public into supporting some hopeless pursuit of the sort of advances in science that were famous last century.......
Some people go to an extend to say that the existence of parallel universe is what gives us an options in life. Mining that we can choose which universe we want to be in: like choosing a partner in life when we could chosen another person. But nature allow us to exist in only one universe at a time: we can,t be in two universe simultaneously.
We are yet to assume the existence of Multiverse: assumption that is also equivalent to accept the idea that there are countless Verses out there: probably infinite number.

Some of us have definitely been exposed to the infamous "multiple universe" conjecture, and can see no reason to uphold such a conjecture.

"Nouveau science" is the realm of this and other similar conjectures that rest on zero evidence, produce zero testable predictions and soak up multiple funding grants.
We can only hope it will go out of fashion again, and funding will return to real science once more.
Cheers!

"For the first two responses, you guys have never heard of multi-universes have you?"
I'm certain they have. However, it is YOUR obligation to adress that.

To the question: it may be possible but, we currently have no evidence supporting multiverse theory.

The real answer God only knows. Seriously we have no idea on whether there is more than one universe not talking about how many there are if there are more than one. If there is more than one than it is likely that the number is staggering if not infinite.
-
All of the parallel universe theories say an infinite number of universes.
-
well if u believe in the mutliverse there would beinfinite universes being made from the constant big bangs happening
-
no there is only one universe
-
string theory and mtheory says that there can be multi universe ,
-
No Uni means one/singular
-
ONE and ONE only.
