There are too many combinations to cover them all, so here is the principle and some examples.
It' easier/neater to use standard form (scientific notation) but in case you don't know this, I've used normal numbers.
__________
mm²-cm²-m²
Imagine a square 1m x 1m. area = 1m²
This is the same as a square 100cm x 100cm, area = 10,000cm²
This is the same as a square 1000mm x 1000mm, area = 1,000,000mm²
Therefore: 1m² = 10,000cm² = 1,000,000mm²
E.g Convert 2m² to mm²
Multiply by 1,000,000
2m² = 2,000,000mm²
E.g. convert 1200mm² to m²
Divide by 1,000,000
1200mm² = 1200/1,000,000 = 0.0012m²

mm³-cm³-m³
These are done in the same way
Imagine a cube 1m x 1m x 1m. volume = 1m³
This is the same as a cube 100cm x 100cm x 100cm, volume = 1,000,000cm3³
This is the same as a cube 1000mm x 1000mm, volume = 1,000,000,000mm³
Therefore 1m³ = 1,000,000cm³ = 1,000,000,000mm³
Then use the same method as for area
Note, 1ml (1 millilitre) is the same as 1cm³.

How do i convert mm3-cm3-m3
The design of the metric system makes this very easy.
1 m = 100cm = 1000mm
1 cm = 10mm
1 m^2 = 100^2 cm^2 = 10^4 cm^2
1 m^2 = 1000^2 mm^2 = 10^6 mm^2
1 cm^2 = 10^2mm^2 = 100mm^2
1 m^3 = 100^3 cm^3 = 10^6 cm^3
1 m^3 = 1000^3 mm^3 = 10^9 mm^3
1 cm^3 = 10^3mm^3 = 1000mm^3
1 m^3 = 1000 litres
1 litre = 1000 millilitres = 1000 cm^3 = 1000*10^3mm^3 = 10^6 mm^3
The design of the metric system makes this very easy.
1 m = 100cm = 1000mm
1 cm = 10mm

1 m^2 = 1000^2 mm^2 = 10^6 mm^2
1 cm^2 = 10^2mm^2 = 100mm^2
1 m^3 = 100^3 cm^3 = 10^6 cm^3
1 m^3 = 1000^3 mm^3 = 10^9 mm^3
1 cm^3 = 10^3mm^3 = 1000mm^3
1 m^3 = 1000 litres
1 litre = 1000 millilitres = 1000 cm^3 = 1000*10^3mm^3 = 10^6 mm^3
