for each of 2 games:
The first prize team would get 4*8=32 bands total.
The second prize team would get 3*8=24 bands total.
The third prize team would get 2*8=16 bands total.
The fourth prize team would get 1*8=8 bands total.
2(32 + 24 + 16 + 8) = 2*80 = 160
If the number of bands was increased by one per person for each game, that would be an additional 2*4*8=64; 160+64=224 total.

It's very simple if the prizes are distributed after two games then u need:
32 bands for 1st;24 bands for 2nd;16 bands for 3rd;8 bands for 4th;
TOTAL=80 bands.
But for every game=160 bands.
If u increase one band each then u need TOTAL=112 bands....
32 bands for 1st;24 bands for 2nd;16 bands for 3rd;8 bands for 4th;
TOTAL=80 bands.
But for every game=160 bands.
