I've been reading "Planet X Forecast ans 2012 Survival Guide" and it is very interesting and seems legitimate. I would like to hear some of your views on this and what you think about it. If you think its true? Will it be as catastrophic as they say? With earthquakes, volcanos, droughts, etc. This year definitely gets me thinking, because it hasn't hardly rained also we had an extremely warm winter. Well any opinions would be very appreciated. Well considering man can't even predict the weather right then I say bullshti and we will just have to see what happens nothing can do about it if it does so I'm not gonna worry bout it. I'm just gonna live every day as if it was my last.

Well, it isn't legitimate at all. No planet will crash into Earth in 2012. Yes there are dwarf planets in the Kuiper belt, that's why Pluto was demoted to dwarf planet status so that the planet like objects found wouldn't all have to be called planets. That does not translate into a SHTF survival situation on Earth.
The reason why the SHTF survival ideas are so attractive to so many people is that it describes an overwhelming situation that negates all other concerns and can not be avoided, only endured. Therefore it overshadows the current concerns of your life and therefore makes it possible to escape or procrastinate your daily concerns. Unfortunately the best way to actually remove the problems you have is to address them not escape them so the SHTF concepts are counter-productive.
We've had warm winter for over ten years now and that is a concern, 80% of the pine trees in Canada are dying off because the pine beetles have not had their annual winter die offs for 10 years. But the warm winters are not from planet X. The world has many problems, planet X isn't one of them.
