Because it has an atmosphere with co2 I wondered about this.

Yes you could.
Sound is a mechanical wave that needs a medium to travel through.
That medium can be gas, liquid, solid, etc.
It's just that our ears developed to receive these oscillation through air.
Elephants, for example, use their feet to detect this oscillations.
The thing is that sound would have lower pitch and would travel significantly shorter distance.
<< According to the paper, sound generated by a human scream on Earth can travel a little over a kilometer before being absorbed by the atmosphere. On Mars, the sound from that same scream would only move about 16 yards at best. >>
That is only about 14,5 meters or about 45 feet.

The thing that would prevent you from doing this is that you wouldn't be able to breathe there, and solar radiation is very high.

Yes.
Mars does have an atmosphere but it is very thin so you wouldn't hear well. Also, you would need a spacesuit on Mars in order to be able to breathe, so any sound would have be transmitted through your helmet or via some more technical means.
Sound moves atoms in a gas to cause them to hit other atoms so sound is transmitted that way. It doesn't matter what kind of gas it is.

No. The atmosphere is far too thin.
-
I am not sure. I think that it is possible but not probable.
-
yes as sound needs a medium to travel through
-
I am not for sure but i would about 75% say no. but if it has an apnosphere like us than yes
