April 6, 2011 was the last one. The reason that the conjunctions and oppositions are approximately 13 months apart is Jupiter's 11.86 year oribtal peries makes it move once zodiac donstellation eastward with reespect to the background stars while the Earth is moving around tyhe Sun in it's 1 year orbit.

Late April and will become visible again in early June. It will disappear when it is in Aries and come back in Taurus.
